1. INSTRUMENT OPERATION
1. Power On
- Open the cover using the black latch, check that the experimental chamber is free of any unnecessary items and clean if needed.
- Turn on the power switch (located on the right side of the instrument). The instrument will perform a selfcheck and then display a language option. Select your language.
2. Grinding Procedure
- Place the prepared samples into the deep-well plate and add the required number and size of stainless steel, glass, or zirconia beads.
- If required, prepare samples using liquid nitrogen freezing or other pre-processing methods. Seal the plate with a silicone cap or heat seal before placing it in the machine.
- On the Main Menu, click Set Up to open the program list editing screen.
- Select an existing program or create and save a new grinding program.
- Press the Home button to return to the Main Menu, then press Start to begin the program.
2. Notes
- Quick-release fastening nuts (with adapter cover, Figure 1) are suitable for up to 4 deep-well plates. For more than 4 plates, use full-threaded fastening nuts with the matching adapter cover (Figure 2).
- Always ensure the shaker adapter is balanced on both sides during operation. Single-sided use is not
permitted. - Designed for short-term, intermittent use – avoid continuous long-term operation.
- To clean, do not rinse with water. Wipe with a damp cloth only.
- If any irregularities occur during operation, switch off the power immediately and have the unit
checked by qualified personnel. - Place the machine on a flat, stable laboratory bench or floor (stone benches are ideal) to minimize
vibration.
