PACE (PCR Allele Competitive Extension) Genotyping Master Mix is a universal master mix designed for use with allele-specific assays (e.g. KASP™, Amplifluor®, IdentiSNP, etc…).  3CR Bioscience also provides a free assay design service for use with the Master Mix, with the intention that customers can save money by purchasing their own oligos.  PACE Master Mix is supplied at 2x concentration for convenience and is supplied with the ROX normalising dye at either high level (500nM working concentration), low level (25nM working concentration) or with standard ROX (150nM working concentration).

Why use PACE Genotyping Master Mix?

The benefits of PACE Genotyping Master Mix over other mixes (such as KASP™, Amplifluor®, IdentiSNP) are improved reduction in non-specific amplification, only one master mix, independent of  reaction volumes, and very significantly lower cost.

Why use PACE assays?
PACE assays work in the same way as KASP™ assays (same tail sequences), and existing KASP™ assays are compatible with PACE Genotyping Master Mix. Rather than charge customers for the supply of the assay, we provide the oligo sequences for customers to purchase themselves.

ProbeSure Genotyping Master Mix is designed for use with 5’ nuclease assays and is suitable for use with TaqMan™, BHQ®, BHQplus®, Zen™ probes. ProbeSure Genotyping Master Mix is supplied at 2x concentration for convenience and is supplied with the ROX normalising dye at either high level (500nM final concentration), low level (25nM final concentration) or without ROX.
