Our most advanced PCR Master Mix for Peak Performance
PACE PCR 2.0 Master Mix ensures unrivalled performance with improved signal-to-noise ratio and tight data clusters.
PACE PCR 2.0 MasterMix has been specially formulated to overcome common PCR inhibitor compounds, such as phenols and tannins. Even notoriously tricky samples like oil palm and conifers can still be assayed using hot shot or other crude DNA prep methods with consistent and accurate data.
Developed specifically for genotyping direct from crude DNA samples. Efficiently streamline your workflow and reduce costs without compromising the quality of your results. PACE 2.0 Genotyping Master Mix is compatible with most crude DNA extraction methods.
PACE® PCR 2.0 Master Mix has powered over 1 million SNP genotyping reactions across research institutions, biotech companies, and diagnostic labs.
With call rates consistently above 99%, it delivers the performance high-throughput labs rely on — batch after batch.
PACE 2.0 is engineered for reliability under pressure. Whether you’re working with crude DNA extractions or challenging sample types like oil palm or conifers, this advanced master mix consistently delivers tight data clusters and clean signal-to-noise ratios—even in high-throughput settings.

PACE® (PCR Allele Competitive Extension) Genotyping Master Mix is a patented master mix designed for use with allele-specific assays (e.g., PACE®, KASP™, Amplifluor®, etc…). It requires the addition of non-labelled oligos, unlike expensive dual-labelled probe chemistries.
PACE® PCR 2.0 Master Mix is supplied at 2x concentration for convenience and is supplied with ROX normalising dye at either high level (500nM working concentration), low level (25nM working concentration), standard ROX (150nM working concentration) or can be supplied without ROX.
3CR Bioscience also provides a free assay design service for use with the Master Mix, with the intention that customers can save money by purchasing their own oligos.

A PCR master mix is a ready-to-use solution that contains essential PCR components—DNA polymerase, dNTPs, buffer, MgCl₂, and sometimes ROX or other reference dyes. It simplifies experimental setup, reduces pipetting errors, and ensures consistency across reactions, which is critical in high-throughput workflows.
Yes. PACE Genotyping Master Mixes are fully compatible with assays designed for KASP™ and Amplifluor® platforms, making them a flexible choice for labs with existing assay designs.
PACE reactions can be analyzed using standard qPCR machines or fluorescent plate readers. The use of a ROX reference dye version of the mix depends on your detection platform, and 3CR provides guidance on ROX compatibility for various instruments.
Yes. PACE does not require costly labeled probes—only standard oligos and master mix—significantly reducing assay development and running costs.
Simply submit your SNP/Indel and flanking sequence to 3CR Bioscience. Their free PACE Assay Design Service will provide optimized primer designs, streamlining assay development and reducing setup time.
Yes. 3CR Bioscience provides expert-level support from assay design through data analysis. Their team has decades of experience and offers troubleshooting, guidance, and best practices tailored to your setup.
Each batch of PACE Master Mix undergoes a stringent QC process, including performance comparisons against historical batches, ensuring consistent, reproducible results. All Certificates of Analysis are available to download from our website support section.
